These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Athonis Therapeutics Autism eScreener for Toddlers (18–36 Months) (“eScreener”). By accessing or using the eScreener, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Purpose of the eScreener
The eScreener is designed to assist parents and caregivers in identifying developmental patterns and estimating support needs in toddlers aged 18–36 months. It is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
2. Not Medical Advice or Diagnosis or Treatment
The eScreener does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Results are indicative only and are not a substitute for professional assessment. Users must seek advice from a qualified health professional regarding any concerns about a child’s development.
3. No Emergency Use
The eScreener is not intended for use in urgent or emergency situations. If you have immediate concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, dial emergency services 000 or seek help from a qualified health professional.
4. Use of Information and Risk
All information provided by the eScreener is general in nature. Support needs may vary, and classifications may differ depending on assessment context and criteria used. Use of the eScreener and reliance on its results is at the user’s own risk.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athonis Therapeutics Pty Ltd excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost, or expense (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from or in connection with the use of, or reliance on, the eScreener or its results. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
6. User Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate and truthful information. The accuracy of results depends on the information provided. Users are responsible for any decisions made based on the eScreener.
7. Privacy and Data Collection
The eScreener may collect user responses and optional personal information such as email addresses for validation, research, and improvement purposes. If incentives are offered during a pilot, users may be required to provide contact details. Athonis Therapeutics Pty Ltd may contact users in relation to participation, validation activities, or follow-up communication, subject to applicable laws.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, structure, scoring logic, and design of the Athonis Autism eScreener for Toddlers (18–36 Months) are trademarked and owned by Athonis Therapeutics Pty Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws. Users must not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the eScreener without prior written consent.
10. Third-Party Links
The eScreener may contain links to third-party websites, including public health services. Athonis Therapeutics Pty Ltd does not control or endorse these websites and is not responsible for their content or availability.
11. Changes to Terms
Athonis Therapeutics Pty Ltd may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the eScreener after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Users submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
